HA!

*dust, dust...coughs* hey! well once again i have failed to update this blog daily or even weekly. i make no excuses but i do intend to try and update this as much as i can. life brings challenges and obstacles and that's that i have been dealing with since the last time i updated. school, home and babysitting are currently my agenda as of this moment. i no longer have a job because i have worked the maximum of two years that a student worker is allowed to work. Now I'm in a struggle to find a job for the summer and make some money.

alot of deaths have happened lately. Ed Mcmahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson are a few to name. I remember when I was younger, I was a major MJ fan. I had the cassestte tapes (remember those?!), the cds and watched and danced to all his music. I remember watching Thriller at night on tv and being scared but so amazed at how great the concept was and just Michael himself. The way he danced and the way he looked (before he turned "white"). Now, he's gone up to join God in heaven to watch down on us. I'm still kind of in shock from learning about his death. He was expected to be touring again and if i had known that I would certainly would've used my last paycheck to buy tickets to that tour and gone to see him in person. But alas, God wanted him up there with him. A great musician and a great idol has left us but will never be forgotten.

Since all of these deaths have been happening, i was compelled to write something that was kind of dark and sinister. Its a work in progress, so I might have more to add or edit. So i finish this blog with my poem in progress appropiately called, "Death."

The smell of death lingers in the air around you,
a black crow makes its call,
for you

The angel of death, cloaked in black
eyes full of deep sorrow, extends his hand
for you

You run, each step you take toward the flickering light
down the sounds echoing down the dark, deserted hallway

The grim reaper stands in front of you,
holding the very light you wish to hold onto
blows it out, and the darkness comes
for you
